Overview:
Support product development in Asia to make sure sample is well executed in terms of aesthetics, quality and timing. To improve communication with vendor, expedite sampling process, improve lead time and sample accuracy. Working across departments to identify issue at sample stage and provide solution. In charge of price negotiation and provide costing saving options. Monitor all production from order to shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure appropriate communication among various corporate team, AFE team and factory.
- To liaise with Corporate Product Development team to make sure all sample detail well executed.
- Build and maintain sample tracker to ensure sample delivery is on time.
- Make initial correction on sample silhouette, guild the factory to use correct material and tooling.
- Work on price from mockup stage, to provide costing saving option to align cost before SMS proceed.
- Work with QA team to foresee production issues, provide suggestion to reduce risk during risk assessment meeting.
- Coordinate with factory to make sure all information in PLM system are accurate before hand over.
- Collect on-trend fashion information including materials, ornament from major supplier at beginning of the season.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or another related field.
- 7+ years in handbag factory or handbag trading company product development area, pricing and production management.
- Leather handbag product experience is welcome.
- Have sense of fashion and knowing handbag development and production process,
- Strong problem-solving skill.
- Team player and could work under fast-paced environment
- Multi-tasking.
- Good sense of art, color, silhouette.
- Good computer skill on Office application and Email.
- Speak both Mandarin and English fluently, additional language is plus.
